We are sponsored today by My Favourite Things
I used Nitwit Designs Paper Pad Promises from Lili of the Valley for my papers. I also have the digital kit for this because it’s so pretty I couldn’t bear to think what I would do when I used it all!
I cut my own card blank from Kanban card with a large scalloped square die from Go Kreate. I love their large dies, they are so versatile and save a fortune in pre made dies.
My image is from Sassy Cheryl and she is called No 2 Pencil and a Dream! Strange name, lol. I coloured her with copics and promarkers, in soft blues. Then I used shimmer chalk to go around the image to take the white off the card. The lace was from my stash as were the little dragonflies and the blue glass gems. I made the floral embellishment from a combination of dies from our sponsor My Favourite Things or DieNamics as I know them (the flourish die) and Boss Kut flowers, which I have not used in ages.
I am entering this into the following challenges:-

ReplyDeleteOh my, this is so pretty, I kept referring to the photo to figure out what was making me go oooh and ahh the most, and I can't choose. I just love the entire composition. The soft colors are right up my alley and yet the scalloped edge, the cuts, the bling are also wonderful and add such a nice touch all around. So, I love it all around. What a gentle feel and sweet sentiment. Thank you for going all pastel with us at Opus Gluei, love to see what you create when you play with us!
