ABC V is for Variety

Wednesday, 1 June 2011

Welcome back to another ABC challenge .. .we are almost at the end of the alphabet, and V is for ...

Variety

We want to see at least 3 different types of embellishments on your creations.

This weeks challenge is being sponsored by Stamp Fairy. Be sure to check out the store because there are so many cute whimsy digistamps for all sorts of projects!

My cute little image is called Linda Fairy, no relation!

ABC V Variety WM

I printed her onto some brown card, would love to call it Kraft, but I think it was a cheap imitation. She has been coloured with chalks, with a little bit of glitter glue for her slightly hidden wings and her wand. The papers are from K&C and the ribbons from and flowers from my stash. I made bases for two of my flowers using the bps and some more of the brown card. The two leaves are large ornate headed pins. I also stamped a sentiment onto the same card and matted it onto the bps.

I’m entering this into the following challenges:-

A Spoonfull of Sugar – Flower Power

Allsorts Challenge – Things With Wings (she does have wings, honest, she has to she is a fairy!)

Card Cupids – Ribbon and/or Fibres

Kenny K’s Krafty Girls – Fabulous Florals

Party Time Tuesdays – Anything Goes

Top Tip Tuesday – Wrap it up with Ribbon

The Outlawz Greetings Challenge – Anything Goes

  10. Gorgeous - love your colouring of that sweet little image.

I'd call that Kraft card......I was under the impression 'Kraft' just started as a generic term for the colour, not a specific 'type' of card??? Am I wrong ;)....wouldn't be the first time!
Anyway, whatever card it is - it is perfect!

Thanks for joining in with us over at Top Tip Tuesday this week for our 'Ribbon' Challenge :)

    Good luck,
    Carol x

  12. Gorgeous card. And I think you've coloured the top part of her wings brown, lol. Her arms are behind her back and you've coloured them blue like her dress. At least that's what I think, lol. xx
