I've given my blog a makeover

Evening folks I am just popping this post up to reveal my new blog makeover. It has given me a headache and the spinnies, and has one tiny niggle which I can't seem to fix, but finally is finished.

Yesterday I was on the point of throwing the pc out the window and kept screaming 'who in the hell invented HTML code anyway?'

I was a bit fed up with my old blog look and figured with a lovely new postion on a DT it was time I zhushed things up, so I have given it a new summer frock.

The original graphics were from http://www.shabbymissjenndesigns.com/ and I have had a throroughly good fiddle with them and adapted them to suit the style I was after. I actually bought a blog pack cos I was too tired to design my own like last time, but ended up designing my own anyway but with the lovely graphics from the 'Hawaiian Vacation Blog' package.

I must have spent an hour or more choosing which package to get as they are all rather lovely. I know there are freebies out there, but none had all the elements I wanted so for the huge sum of £3.81 I got lots of lovely goodies to play with.

I also decided to pay for a ready made signature and watermark for my designs too, which I got from http://whimsystamps.com/ I shall reveal the watermark later, but the signature is, naturally, below. I wanted the softly sweet pinky/blue coloured one but was worried it would melt into the backgroud, so went for the 'cool' colour instead. I think it's rather lovely.

I had to giggle late last night when I realised I had gotten some new followers to my blog and wondered if they saw her 'half dressed' or 'cross dressed' not knowing whether she was Arthur or Martha, the blog that is, not the followers, although......... well who knows what y'all are wearing the other side of that monitor! Just keep it to yourself is all I ask!

Now I just know someone is gonna come along and tell me they can't read it against the background! LOL
