Goodness knows where my brain is these days, but it’s appears to be absent without leave. I am meant to have blogged this a week ago and I completely forgot.
So our challenge this fortnight, or should it be week, lol, is Under the Sea. Anything that lives in or under the sea is fine. I went with a Sweet Pea stamp called The Dark Mermaid. I coloured her with copics, and edged her scales with a white pigment ink pen. I also dotted it into her hair. Her wings have been coated with glamour dust as has her top.
We are sponsored by Sir Stampalot with a fabulous sheet of appropriately themed stamps and also by Di’s Digistamps with a $12 gift certificate for their store.
The background is a Sheena Douglass embossing folder called Water Ripples, which I have then inked in various pastel blues/greens. This was embossed onto a mat from the Spellies Die that is also around the outside.
I am entering her into:-
Allsorts Challenge – #267 Splish, Splash, Splosh
Creative Corner - Water
Cut It Up – #49 Under the Sea
Fussy and Fancy #118 It’s All About Girls
Going Grey with Scrap Creations - Water
