CCM #64 Time

As the clocks go forward next Weekend here in the UK and we will be on British Summer Time, our challenge for you at Crafty Cardmakers this fortnight is ‘Time’. It is hosted by Jackie and this is what she had to say about her challenge.

Your card should reflect in some way the concept of Time - time passing, time spent, time waiting . . . You can use stamps, digi images, photographs, shop bought embellishments, embossing folders, background images, your own drawings or anything else you can think of.

Time Main

We are sponsored by StampMan

and also by Di's Digi Downloads (2) copy

Please see the Crafty Cardmakers blog for more details.

Most of the team have been very arty with their creations, but I had a leaving card to make for a colleague of my SIL who sadly has just been made redundant. As they work for a Brewery, the expression ‘time Gentlemen please’ sprung into my head. I did check first if he had a sense of humour because otherwise it could be considered tasteless! I was assured he did have so the above card is what I came up with it.

I am told that he has white hair, so I left my chaps’ hair white. The background is embossed with a Cuttlebug clock parts folder onto Core’dinations and sanded back to reveal the core. The image came on a free cd with The Complete Guide to Digital Crafting magazine. I coloured him with promarkers but paper pieced his shirt to match the matting behind him.

The two beer glasses were pics I downloaded and printed onto Crafty Computer Paper’s printable shrink plastic.

The sentiment was printed on my pc. I do hope they are right and that ‘Bedlam’ (his nickname because apparently he causes bedlam wherever he goes!) has a good sense of humour!

I am entering this into the following challenges:-

2 Sisters Challenge Blog – #83 Spots and Dots
