Two blog awards

Things are coming in two’s today!

I have received the following blog awards

 

I received this award from two lovely blogging friends

the first was Fi at SugarplumDoodles and you really need to go check out her fabulous eye for colour, she is currently guesting at Sugar Nellie and they would be mad to let her go methinks.

and the second was from Ei at Eiglass who seems to think I have lost the plot, but where she formed that opinion I have no idea. She thinks she might be jealous of me, but I suspect she hasn’t done the craft equivalent of looking in the mirror as with her talent there is nothing to be jealous of!

Here are 7 random things about myself:

*  I am quite likely to burst into song in my local Tesco with a complete stranger

*  Despite the above I used to use my voice to make my Daughter’s friends leave when I had had enough of their noise. It was described by one of them as ‘does your Mum know she sounds like someone stood on a bag of cats?

*   I am an Elvis Fan and when visiting Graceland I met his Cousin, his Secretary and two of his closest friends – check me out, lol. His secretary and I had the same favourite song ‘Baby You’re So Square’

*  I am terrified of frogs and toads

*  I watch Gossip Girl, heck did I really say that out loud!

*  I built my own pc. This current one is about the 7th one I have built

*  I once sat opposite Jerry Marsden of Jerry and the Pacemakers Fame on the way home from school on the train and couldn’t even drag my jaw off the floor long enough to say hello. This was before the days of Hello Magazine and Tweeting etc, so to see someone famous was fabulous.
